Now open your eyes, go read today's email, and let that memory meet the page.

Journaling prompts

Write down the biggest challenges or obstacles you've overcome in your life.

Now write down one golden nugget you took from each of them. 

Look over your list. Are there any connective threads? Any themes?

 

Ritual: Box breathing 

Set a timer for 3 minutes. Breathe in for 4 counts. Hold for 4. Exhale for 4. Hold for 4. Repeat. 

Sit with any emotions that come up, and breathe through them. If you feel an anxious tightening in your chest, take your fingers and lightly tap your chest and shoulders as you breathe. 

Remind yourself that you are safe.
